Finally getting around to posting the finished restore pics for the sander I posted last year. Sander and motor are mounted on a portable base with a cleat for mounting in my workbench vise. Has dust collection shroud around lower portion of wheel and shopvac hose hookup. Homemade safety shutdown paddle switch.

I’ve been using standard self-adhesive 8” sanding disks which work well but expose a bit of the 8 1/2” diameter wheel. Earlier this month, I scored two packs of NOS Delta 8 1/2” sanding disks at a yard sale, shown in the last pic. They’re garnet paper and require adhesive to mount, so I’ll probably never use them, but they were cool to find.
