Acquired at an auction 15 years ago for $200. I would not have paid that much, except it came with a sanding table and disk, motor and jack shaft, an outboard turning plate, a 6"-four jaw chuck, an X - Y tool holder (feeds 0.1 incher per revolution of the cranks; 8" on the X and 4" on the Y axes)plus various centers. It has a clutch on the spindle drive, evidently to save starts on the motor (I don't think a line-drive machine would have had a vee belt pulley). The tailstock feeds 4" with a really nice, smooth action on a fine looking crank wheel. I cleaned and painted this machine, and replaced the headstock hearings. I have used the X - Y attachment to make rolling pins and toy car wheels, as well as turn plastic and brass occasionally. Currently not under power; I will improve the speed range and motor mount this winter.
