This motor is on a bench grinder that I received in the 1970's from my grandfather. It looks like it is homemade. The motor is definitely old but I don't know when, where, or how he got it. It runs smoothly and still works as a grinder--I sharpened lawn mower blades with it this spring--but I am replacing it with a new grinder that takes up less space (the wood base is 27 inches long.)
