Comments:
This Carey and Harris jointer was spotted recently at an antique engine meet along with an assortment of other woodworking machinery all removed from the box shop of a Massachusetts orchard. The collection included an iron frame double spindle shaper missing its door thus maker's tag, two untagged wood frame cross cut saws, an untagged iron frame "railway" cut off saw, a hand feed board edger, and the Carrey saw here submitted.
The brass manufacturer's tag is the same shape as that used by W.W. Carey but with the addition of the Harris name.
