I purchased this saw from a gentleman in Houston, TX who was selling it for scrap. It had been left in the shop he was renting and the landlord said he could dispose of it however he wanted.

As I was strapping it down on the trailer, a neighboring business owner stopped by to talk. He said it had been sitting in the exact same spot for over 30 years. Prior to that, the buildings had been used by a patternmaker and that saw was the last piece of equipment left from his business. I haven't called Yates yet for whatever history they might be able to provide, but will update once I do.

This old girl will get a full restore.
