FB find at $50.00. Drill press turned on and ran great but had a bad power cord. Initial plan was to do a power cord replacement with a simple clean up. Once apart it turned into a full blown restore. I replaced bearings and polished all of the metal parts out to a stainless look. The head band and motor bands are original and was able to keep the character of the OEM marks. The motor was rewired where the original wires could not be fixed. The drill press was painted Ford Mo Co. dark shadow gray.
