This is a grinder pedestal that I found in northern RI in 2017. The base has the following text cast into it:Lamb Ball Bearing Grinder - Lamb Knitting Machine Company, Chicopee Falls, MASS. It has a delta grinder attached to it now and there was no evidence of the original grinder though an OWWM.org member uploaded some similar grinders from a Lamb catalog. The image here shows a round top to the pedestal whereas the one in the catalog showed a square attachment point.
