I picked up this machine in Washington, DC. The PO knew nothing about the history of this machine as he acquired it from the Habitat For Humanity resale store. The PO added the angle iron on the base to keep this machine from tipping. The machine runs.
This machine is badged DeWalt, but built by American Saw Mill in NJ and sold under the Monarch brand. So it was built around the time DeWalt rebranded some of the American Saw Mill Machinery line.
