Comments:
I bought this Delta Model 34-600 from used tool dealer in Harrison Township Michigan who had it posted on the Detroit area Craigslist. A 1959 model with that gray splatter type paint Delta was using during that time on it. Came with the original optional solid cast iron extension wings, motor mount, original zamak blade insert and complete rip fence with rails. Stripped down to base metal and all painted in Awl Grip paint system. I installed a 3/4-hp 3450rpm Rockwell motor I had that was given to me off another unknown machine. Saw has two nice balanced/machined Browning pulleys and a new Gates Hi-Power 36" V-belt, new arbor bearings, all new electrical, a nice old Delta auto-set miter gauge I had on hand and a new Freud 8.25" 40 tooth carbide blade. I also added a Delta flare footed splayed leg table saw stand from a 9" Contractors saw a tool junkie friend was parting out.
This saw was in very good all original condition when found and these model 34-600 9" Delta table saws are very, VERY well build heavy duty and accurate machines known around the world.
