This machine was built in 1948 and shipped to a lumber yard in North Carolina. I purchased the unit in July 2005 and sent it to Central Machinery in Lexington, North Carolina for complete restoration. The machine was completely disassembled, inspected, and rebuilt/restored as necessary. I plan to merge the mortiser into my millwork production company and hope it lasts another 57 years.
