Comments:
I acquired this Brodhead-Garrett in 2016 from a machinist-turned-cabinetmaker in WI. I'm unclear if he was the original owner. It was originally a 3 phase machine, but had a single phase Westinghouse motor installed prior to my acquisition. The Furnas starter box appears to have been originally 3 phase, but was modded to operate single phase. I have lots to learn about this lathe and woodturning. This appears very similar to a 1950s Atlas Model. The head stock threads are non-standard.
