This 3-head gang production setup is a good example of that type of unit. (And visually 'striking' as well!) The 900 series 15" heads all have the early orange background badge with no serial data on them, so they seem to date to 1940 (or 1941).

I'm not sure when W-T introduced this cast iron leg set and production table. The early 1940s catalog illustrations show a more simple design.

The only thing missing that you'd normally expect to see on a production gang setup like this is head raising gear on each head. Sometimes production units are also outfitted with rear belt guards, which are not in place here.

This unit was spotted for sale on line, and is not mine.
