I acquired this electric motor in an auction as I wanted the vintage "MEM" brand contactor that came with it.

The plate (what I can read of it - see 2nd photo below) says:
"The ??glish ??????ic Co. Ld.; Phase 3 ???or; Serial 5r 2534/14; ??? 50 (cycles); Rating CON; ???s 1.8 (Amps); HP 1; ??? 2800 (RPM); ??? 400 (Volts)".

The photos are those provided by the seller. I will take some photos putting the motor into storage.

The body is 10 inches long (over end castings) and 8 inch in diameter. It has a 3/4" diameter shaft, and weighs in just under 54lb.
