This Crescent/Rockwell grinding attachment came with a Crescent/Rockwell 12 jointer, both purchased from another OWWM member. They were owned originally by the Fairview Training Center in Salem, Oregon. The grinder motor name plate has a manufacture date of 11/1949. In this version, the motor axis sits at the angle shown, which requires a beveled grinding wheel. Later versions of the grinder had a vertical motor mount and different grinding wheels. The attachment is missing the part that holds a jointing stone but is otherwise complete. The motor is from Lamb Electric, 1/4 hp, 8000 rpm.
