Comments:
The Machine was originally sold by Wolfe Machinery Co. In Johnston Iowa. Erdman Door and Specialty (of Paso Robles CA.) Purchased it from Central Coast Glass located in Salinas, CA., in 2015, they used the machine in their Hollow Metal Fabrication Shop, we do not know how long they had the saw or who they purchased it from. It came with a 20" metal cutting blade. The Saw was outfitted by Wolfe Machinery with a Ambetech, "Star Brake" for a Starter and Brake. The Saw is being used in our Metal Fabrication Shop. Aside from the column being a little stiff in movement (nothing a little TLC will not take care of) the machine operates perfectly, and is very accurate.I will attempt to get more information on who made the original purchase.
The Machine has a metal box that was put on behind the saw, apparently to prevent the fly of metal as the blade cut steel goods. We have not done any restorative work on the machine, outside of standard maintenance and lubrication.
