Non-tilting ½" arbor run in a pair of Oilite bearings in a cast iron housing.
Machined cast iron top attached to a stamped steel base.
Machined steel 1½" diameter pulley.
>>HISTORY<<
September 2009:
Purchased from a fellow OWWMer and another Ruckered it to me at ArnFest 2009.
January 2017:
Cleaned heavily rusted table.
Tapped bearing oil fill hole #6-32 and added a machine screw plug.
Bearings lubricated with SAE30 non-detergent oil and pivot with LPS-2.
Reassembled and attached to my test stand with a 1/2 hp 1750 rpm Craftsman motor, floating rail, 3/8" belt, and 4" pulley.
An abrasive cutting wheel is installed for slicing metal.
February 2017:
Inspected top and found substantial dip near blade opening.
Removed working parts and scrapped remains of saw.
