THIS MACHINE IS NOT FOR SALE, DON'T ASK, AND NO I DO NOT WANT TO TRADE YOUR ITEM "X" FOR IT. THIS IS NOT A SALES FORUM AND I DO NOT HAVE MACHINERY FOR SALE HERE.

These grinders appeared in the 1930s, according to paperwork and a PDF on file here: http://vintagemachinery.org/pubs/detail.aspx?id=2310 I purch'd this for $50.00, in the summer of '04 from a private individual whose dad had picked it up from a bus garage in upstate NY after retiring. It runs fine. There is a plane blade holder and it is attached to the front rail-left, there is a kerosene reservoir, brass plumbing to move the k-sene around, and in the rear there are two nuts on an arbor for an additional cone/cone shaped wheel. The data plate indicates: Made in Chicago, USA, Type: KG, V-110, Frame: 37, Freq-60, Power: 1/4, Phase-1, Speed: 3450, #23-502 (model #23, serial #502). If anyone can shed any light on this I'd appreciate it. I am also in hot pursuit of a Wallace base specifically made for the grinder, so if you have one, find one, see one somewhere, let me know. I would be interested in a Wallace oil stone grinder/parts machine too, should you trip over one.

**Note: **Note: This publication is the only one I could locate in the library that has the grinder pic'd and ref'd: http://www.vintagemachinery.org/pubs/detail.aspx?id=2310
***Note: I have since found a second Wallace Oil Stone Grinder, right here in the Buffalo, NY area, on an original stand. The grinder is with another OWWMember out west and the stand has been stripped of paint, defects corrected and is awaiting painting.
