Comments:
Aquired in Tell City. Previous owner, Jim Fuchs, had been a tool & die maker since the early sixties. He passed away some year ago. Son was selling equipment. The lathes feed would have been belted off the spindle originally. He devised this interesting mechanism off the end that has a separate motor and 3 speed transmission. Lathe is in fairly good shape considering its age. The 1907 date is based off and ad of that date that shows a compound rest. Earlier ones only show cross slide rests.
