this is actually the same machine that jeff joslin posted lower down
I acquired it a few years back, its seen regular service as a drill and as a mortiser ever since

easily the most capable drill press mortiser I've ever used and better than most modern benchtop mortisers

the motor is now a 1hp delta and I added a reversing switch and part of a "retirement" light
