I came across this today at a small joinery shop. Couldn't find a manufacturers name.

Located on Kapiti Coast, North Island, New Zealand. Believed to have come from a shop/mill in Marton, New Zealand.

(also listed in a thread on the Aussie forum).

[ADMIN NOTE: An article in the 1903-11-25 "Farm Implements and Machinery" suggests that N. Andrew of Wanganui primarily imported from Britiain.

And here's a 1902-11-19 article that says that N. Andrew was importing woodworking machinery made by John Sutcliffe & Son (Ltd.) of Halifax, England. This saw seems to match that shown in an 1899 Sutcliffe ad.
