This machine spent some time on the coast here. The kind of rust produced by exposure to salt air is immediately recognizable. It came with an enormous assortment of cutters, which was the chief attraction to drag it home. Also a fair number of table rings and half of the often missing fence hold down mechanism that is shown in the first photo. The spindle was turned down to 3/4", a not uncommon modification to these shapers. The motor is a 1.5hp Master, almost certainly original. So far I've managed to clean the top but not much else.
