Comments:
This saw was advertised on Craigslist in the Eugene, Oregon area in Summer of 2015. It was acquired and then handed around among several Oregon OWWMers before we lost track of it. The Walker Turner BN1125/1135 upper blade guide was an easy ID, but the saw's provenance remained elusive until a similar saw with a C.B. Herald badge showed up in Northern Washington State (9/26/23)
This saw lacks the factory riser casting necessitated by the fact that the lower wheel hangs below the bottom of the main C-frame casting. It also features a square post supporting the upper blade guide. A user-fabricated riser was included when it was purchased in 2015.
This is the first of four (to date) of these bandsaws to attract our attention. I hope to post/motivate posting photos of the others here shortly.
Original entry 12/9/2016; identified and moved to C.B. Herald 9/28/2023/RD
