Companion [Bottle Capper Handle Operated] Drill Press. I got this in 6/04(seems like a week ago) from Bill Taggert who likes rust so well. I keep planning to redo it for my small drill press so I can replace my 2 bit chiwanese DP that looses it's chuck only during drilling operations. A cleaning with acetone and a spot of superglue help.
Found this machine in the '37, '38 & '39 Craftsman catalogs. There is nothing like this in the early King-Seely or Walker -Turner lit on OWWM.
Little 1/4HP GE motor runs fine. I'll probably go to 1/2HP just for grins.
