Just picked up this 12" planer. I've been looking for an old Parks for some time now and found this one on craigslist for a steal! It has been sitting unused in a horse barn for a good number of years but looks like it's in pretty good shape. I brought it home, cleaned it up, and this weekend am going to go through it and give it a good tune up. I would really like any info on it's age, etc. since there is no badge on it and no holes where one might have been. There is also no number stamped on the frame. Only numbers cast into the the various components. Nothing anywhere that says Parks or craftsman. The only thing it does have is a big white safety warning sticker/ label on the cutterhead cover. It came with what looks like a factory beltcover. I am going to build a new base. The bright blue paint looks to be original, but I'm not sure.
