This machine is not owned by me, but my employer which is a public school. It was honestly some unusual that I thought it should be here. It was originally mounted to a Gang Table. I know this because the table is now a bench in our shop. The dril must have had a longer colum made and it was then attached to the Cast iron Base of a Mobil Gas Lollipop sign. (this was done years ago I'm sure as the base is worth more than the drill) this machine also has an aftermarket saftey table on it as well as the ship wheel more commonly seen on the 17 drill press. A Frankenmachine for sure
