Sometimes the tool Gods smile on you and somthing wonderful drops into your lap. I found this machine via Craigslist in Holly Michigan near Flint. It had ben partially restored, the motor was upgraded to a 3/4 horse. After about a year I finally got it restored. New bearings in the headstock. The spindle is upgraded to a Delta 1460, and the variable speed drive was replaced with a new one from Hi-lo company. New belts, all diled in and working beautifully. Sold this machine 3-10-19, didn't use it enough to justify owning it.

Early cast iron base, orange badge. Don't ever lose the nut that secures the VS handle. It's 1/2-24 and is non existent in your local hardware. You can order it on line, some companies reproduce it because it was used on 1930's Indian Motorcycles

Brass tag on the end of the bed. Due to W.T. poor serial number system I can only guess it's age between 1941-46. I believe there must have been a slight redesign in 47, as the last 2 digits of later machines Ive seen is 47, and the bases have a cast W.T.
