Bagged from the bay this am (w/perm). In the owner's words: I have here a Boice Crane Shaper/Router... This is a heavy duty machine... My father and uncle used this in their woodworking shop years ago... It has been in storage for the past 13 years. It runs off of 230 volt service... It does not have a plug however I stole one off my welder and wired it up to hear it run. The motor started up and seems strong. The unit shakes ever so lightly... not like a washer/dryer jumping around, however it did seem a bit loud... not sure if this is a concern or not. All of the adjustment knobs work and I sprayed wd40 on everything just to loosen things up... There is one knob that is bent, however could be straightened easily.
The unit comes with a cabinet full of bits... There are a ton in the cabinet and the cabinet itself is nice... hangs on the wall with everything in order.
The tag on the shaper says the following..... BOICE CRANE; CAT.NO. 3100-3150, SER NO. 1706...
I estimate that the unit with the bits and cabinet weighs about 300 lbs...
