Comments:
I picked this machine up on a total lark. It features a 27" band saw, 12" jointer/molder, 1" reversible spindle shaper, horizontal borer, and a 16" table saw with 1" arbor. A 1913 ad shows the machine just like this one while a 1915 ad shows the borer repositioned 90 degrees so it would be operated from the table saw side of the machine as opposed to the shaper side. This machine came from a millwork shop in Cottage Grove Oregon that went out of business during the depression. The saw was bought by a cabinet maker in Redmond, Oregon who only used the band saw. His son now in his 70's sold it to me. The machine is dirty but it is in remarkable condition and it has the original shaper and jointer fences with hold downs, the miter gauges, and table saw fence. It is a pretty unique machine but it does take up a lot of space. It measures 5.5' by 8' by 6.5' high and weighs a respectable 3500 pounds.
