This is a heavy cast iron C-Frame old band saw mfgd by the Superior Machine Works Chicago. It has 36 wheels. They are cast iron with wood rims. The table is 30 x 38. The throat is 34. The drive pulleys are wood flat belt, but can be changed to V-belt, etc. There are some blades with it. There is a shaft that passes through the frame that has some thing broken off (see picture) but all this shaft appears to do is guide the flat belt on the pulley and maybe served as belt tensioner to stop and start from a line shaft. If you go to V-belt or other drive system, it wont be needed Also included is the original motor - a big old beefy Westinghouse 5 hp, 1 shaft. This motor is 110V or 220V, 60 cycle, single phase (NOT three phase), 1750 RPM, Frame No. 460. This machine is currently listed on eBay item # 7537356013
