Comments:
I do not own this machine. I photographed it in August 2005 at the ReTool in Royal Oak MI, for record purposes.
Sprunger Brothers, Topeka Indiana factory.
8" tilt arbor, ball bearing, bench saw, S/N 13152, built in 1950.
Cast aluminum top, cabinet and fence components (a few years later the top was converted to cast iron).
Top size: 24" deep x 16" wide, miter gauge slots: ¾"x¼"
The blade guard is not original and should be ignored.
The fence bar is loose sitting on the top.
The stand appears to be an original Sprunger model.
Note the rear stabilizer leg on the factory stand.
Motor is a 1960 Craftsman.
Part numbers in castings:
27-101 Top
27-107 Motor mount plate
27-110 & 111 Rip fence
