This motor stand was purchased long ago along with an old GE electric motor and a Frank H. Clement buzz planer. The stand held the motor in place so a Lovejoy coupler could be used to hook up with the Clement head shaft. This may not have been its original use and now the stand is part of a mobile base for a Rockwell planer. The only mark on the stand is WH Field Boston. The stand is made of a single cast base, 4 columns, and a single piece cast top. Fine height adjustments can be made and locked with square head screws.
