The guy I bought this from was moving to NYC.
He had to get it out, like now.
He wanted $500, took $400 and threw in a KS/Craftsman 4" jointer.
The table is dead-flat and the arbor doesn't have any play.
The original 1725 RPM motor was replaced with a Rockwell 3450 RPM in the 70s
1.5HP on 220V
They used the original pulley and it was scary loud at double speed!
I installed the correct pulley w/belts from Sawcenter.com.
Now it sounds perfect and passes the nickel test with flying colors.
Update
The bearings went so it's running a new arbor/bearings/machined pulleys/belts/Forest Woodworker II
I also upgraded to a Biesmeyer fence/rails and a Bench Dog router table extension table with a Bench Dog Pro-lift and fence
