I inherited this saw from my father. I was with him the day that he picked this saw up at a garage sale in Brookston, IN for $35. There are no markings on this saw or the motor whatsoever, but thanks to a fellow woodworker on this website I was able to identify this saw as a 1936 Duro (model 3005). I am unsure if the motor is original, but there is no indication that it is not. The 1936 Duro catalog does not show or list a motor as being included in the original equipment, so who knows. It runs well, but with a bit of vibration. I am confident that I can remedy this with new pulleys and a better belt.
