I came across this wet belt sander. I thought the price sounded reasonable. I called the seller. Seller told me that he just dropped the asking price in half from where he started. The price was now down to $400. He told me he was selling the sander for a friend and it has not been used for many years, but it was in very good shape. The sander was in San Francisco, about an hr. and a half drive. My son also had the day off so we went on a road trip. I did some research before I headed out to pick it up. It is a tank of a belt sander. What I know is that the sander is a Porter cable, Model BG8-FT9 wet belt sander. It has the Automatic feed table. It weigh's just under a ton. I think its going to be a wonderful sander.
