Comments:
I purchased this machine in October 2016 at an auction of Pony Tools/Jorgensen closing of their Chicago manufacturing plant. Unfortunately, no one from Pony was available at the auction to provide a history of the machine. I am unsure if this is an 880 or 890 model (this is my first vintage machine, but hopefully not the last), but was mainly used to cut metal at Pony. It looks to have the original open stand, but was upgraded to a newer 1/2HP motor and the blade tension handle was replaced with a custom made hex drive head. I look forward to restoring this machine in time, but it is in good condition, no rust, and operates great as is.

I spent about 3 hours cleaning the metal shavings and cutting oil residue off the inside and ordered new tires, but Pony took excellent care of this machine and it is balanced
