I dug this out of my father in laws wood shed. he said it was a 1953 model but the serial number index puts this around 1966. I believe this is all original except the power cord and switch I replaced. the wires coming out of the motor are original. the blade guide was seized up pretty good but I got it broke loose with sandpaper and WD40. also had to evacuate the mice that had taken up residence behind the bottom panel. I don't restore old stuff but I need this band saw to make traditional bows so I did some cleaning on it. besides I like the old worn look of this piece so I just made it a functional solid performer.
I am so very happy with this saw.. from what I have read on line this company went out of business in the 80's due to Chinese imports flooding the market.
