I picked this saw up via online auction in hand rapids, MI. According to several brass tags, it once belonged to Kennedy manufacturing in Van Wert, OH. After some google searching, I've concluded that this is the same Kennedy that still makes toolboxes and work benches. I've used it only a small amount. It appears to have some slippage in the hi-lo gearing. I can get it to move through the entire range of speeds once running, but it sometimes has issues with popping out of gear upon start up.
