This F.S.Perkins Lathe, Pattern Maker, made in Lowell, Mass. *THIS LATHE IS GONE, SOLD, WHEREABOUTS??* Searched all over and inside for a serial w/no luck. I've seen on the side of the road for quite awhile, owner wants $300.00 for all that you see. I'm not trying to sell it for the owner, just looking for any facts or tips anyone can provide before I throw some cash down. The owner doesn't know much of its history, it was in the barn for the last 50 years until he unburied it. The bed is 6' long, and from the #4 (?) chuck seen to the tail stock I meas. 33", ground to the rail base is 35", weighs in at around 500 lbs. Put in pos. with a skid loader. Photos posted w/owners permission.
