This machine is located in the "Bert Tyler Vintage Machinery Museum", a small museum in Perth, Western Australia. I spoke to Bert briefly about it and was told it had last been used in a boat yard until it went through a fire. I neglected to ask whether the table was originally made from wood. With the top guide in place the resaw height would be about 14".
The patents translate to patent numbers 75765 http://www.datamp.org/displayPatent.php?number=57565&typeCode=0 and 134704 http://www.datamp.org/displayPatent.php?number=134704&typeCode=0. In one of the pictures the remnants of the brass lower guide parts are shown inset. Drawings of these same parts can be seen in the second patent.
