Here`s a not so nice looking Moak shaper that I`ve saved from the junk pile.
It has a 22"X 30" table that is 37" from the floor ( it`s also covered with Formica, original?)
The motor was a huge Reliance 3 HP 1730 RPM 220 VOLT driving the spindle with an also huge 6" pulley and 4" wide flat belt.
There are no name plate on that machine except "Moak Machine & Tool Co. Port Huron Mich." cast on the bottom of the frame.
I was lucky enough to get three nice 1 1/8" cutters with it.
The wiring was terrible: so I tried a new wire & plug, plugged it in on my planer outlet and it worked...!
I will try to refurbish the monster in the future and post new pictures with the work is over.
If by any chance some of you has information concerning that machine, please let me know.
