Purchased from a cabinet and door shop where the machine was moved to and motorized in 1930. The machine is almost identical to the planer shown in Hall and Browns' "Catalogue No. 12- 1904", although this machine has the table height adjustment handle like the one shown in the 1912 catalog. The Planer is powered by a 5 hp GE motor and has a few modifications from its original design. For example, the flat belts have been replaced by V-belts.
