Found this in my father's stuff after he passed away. It appears to be made for mounting on a table saw and belt driven from below. With the fabricated stand shown, and old dryer motor it functions very well in my metal and woodworking hobby shop. The mitre gauge was missing, but have found (shop made from plastic) a suitable replacement.
