As seen in a popular online auction site:

This is an antique scroll saw with drill attachment. The saw measures about 24" by 24", the base is oak and has Dirigo hand painted across the front, which I can only assume is the manufacturer or model. All mechanical parts are still moving and functional, as you can see from the pictures the plate is not attached, but intact. The saw came from an estate in southern maine.
