Powermatic Drill Press Model #1200 Serial # 8020V368
Aloha,
This is my drill press, it is in my shop, it came from an IRS auction but it was a dealer overstock type auction. Got a good price on the machine, but got raped on the crating and the tackheads built a crate twice the necessary size so shipping was very expensive too. By the time I was finished with their economic wastefulness, I probably could have bought a new one for the same money. This is the only machine I have ever bought from IRS and I really did not enjoy their operation. Everything is their way or the highway. Sometimes I feel like a rude machinery dealer magnet. Anyway this is just like the drill press I used to have when I was on the mainland and I was glad to get an opportunity to get another one. This one is even better because it is in Maui with me. I used to have pretty much all Powermatic equipment in my old shop. It is good stuff and Ive done lots of woodwork with their machines. No apologies on this one, pretty much just plug and play. I love the variable speed feature on these. Cool drill press.
Aloha,
Chuck
