Garage sale find. Converted to milling/drilling machine. Used as a dedicated milling machine with original Sears collet chuck, shop built x-y table and head height adjustment. The original instructions from sears claim that this press can be used as a milling machine and so far it does a very nice job on materials like aluminum and brass. I have my doubts about milling steel with it. I have found it works best to use the plunge milling method with end mills.
