Comments:
Another unlabeled example of this drill that was patented by Victor H. Peterson in 1932. Again, no markings of any kind on the drill. The owner wanted to donate it to the Navy for their museum collection, and they contacted us for help in identifying it. They ultimately decided not to add the drill to their artifact collection.

All castings are different on this version of the drill, and I suspect this one is the later version. Other construction details, such as the belt pulleys behind the drill head, are very similar and help to confirm that they are from the same maker. It appears that the variable-speed mechanism on this one is no longer complete. The adjustment lever is missing and it's not clear whether the motor can still tilt (as required to accommodate a variable pulley diameter).
