$15 at a yard sale this morning, including a 1/2 hp motor (Westinghouse, not Delta), pulleys and belts. Asked PO about the miter gauge but it was not present. Dirty and surface rust, but the disk spun freely with no side play, and the paint looked in decent shape. A few hours work with wire brush, steel wool, and sandpaper removed the rust, and a good washing took care of the dirt.
I’ll need to make a stand, there’s a lot of good examples in the photo index for inspiration.
It’s impressive how flat the disk was ground. I set the wet disk down on a formica countertop after washing, and I could not lift it up because of the suction, had to slide it off the edge of the counter.

clean back. Not thrilled with yellow paint, but I won't be looking at this side when I use it
