I purchased this NOS 1982 complete kit in 2015 for $120; it included all plans, brochures, and everything needed to build an 18" band saw. It was constructed with solid oak and hardwood plywood. Also came with a speed reduction kit that enables the saw to cut steel. Powered with a Craftsman 1/2hp 1725 rpm motor. Surprisingly stable and user friendly, although not a production machine. Always wanted a big band saw and making one was extremely enjoyable.
