I acquired this like-new planer in approximately 2008 and used it for 8 years before selling it to a fellow OWWM member. I bought it from a small, one-man cabinet shop owner. Apparently he had never used it and I suspect he bought it from a school district that had never used it either. The original knives were installed in the head and were still sharp. Most of the original paint was still present on the sectional chip breaker as well.

Because it had sat unused for so long, it needed new cutterhead and feedroller bearings, which I installed shortly after buying the machine.
