Purchased this Shopsmith from the original owner in 1998 at a garage sale. He had purchased the machine from Montgomery Wards. Along with the Shopsmith came the scroll saw, lathe,disk and drum sander,and other attachments. He also gave me the manuals that he had.

I picked up the Shopsmith wood turning tools in 2000 at a second hand store. It was manufactured for Shopsmith by the Disston company.
